MEET YOUR STYLIST

Hi! I'm Aliyah, and I am 23 years old with a simple passion for making every one of my clients feel good about themselves. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, so whatever I can do to make that happen, let's do it. I am a social butterfly who LOVES a dirty chai. I am a big advocate for human rights and ensuring everyone feels welcome regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity. My hair journey is a fun story as it wasn't something I saw myself doing ever since I was a little kid. I graduated high school in 2020 and had no idea what to do, it was the midst of the pandemic, and I knew a 4-year college wasn't for me, so beauty school was a thought that crossed my mind a few times as I essentially grew up in the business with my mom working in a salon for most of my young life. I always thought it was the coolest thing. I love being creative and anything revolving around art, so it had the best of both worlds. I also knew I wanted to own my own business, and a hair studio always excited me and eventually became my dream. While attending school in 2021, I was able to get certified in hand-tied hair extensions, which I knew I wanted to specialize in once I was able. I later graduated in April of 2022, started working, and seven months later, I opened BYALIYAHTAYLOR HAIR STUDIO. Looking back to see how far I have come is a way for me to tell other people who want to do the same that they can do it, and you can do anything if you work for it.
